1 The original traveller arrangement. The pulleys are too small, the lead is bad and fouls almost immediately and the purchase is too low in a good wind.

4 Step one was to make a new plate to mount on the top of the carriage. I used the original holes in the carriage and bolted it through from the bottom; no mods to the carriage required. The plate was tapped 1/4 - 28, to mazimize the holding power.
